anyone ever had an office romance/fling?

how did it end? or is it still ongoing?

It sounds like the worst idea ever and I'd never even consider it. Working with friends / family is bad enough (I'm sure Jamie would agree with me here) - I can't imagine being involved with someone romantically in the office.

And this is coming someone who has always worked in male-dominated offices!

Yeah I can speak from personal experience that working with friends/family is a bad idea...

I can also speak from personal experience on office romances involving friends/family...

I personally have never been in one... but was all but in the middle of a couple... makes for a VERY uncomfortable work enviroment... and ruins relationships with family in my situation.

Never tried it. Never want to try it. Had one guy try it. Told him it's not allowed in my rulebook. :) We're just friends now. :) And he found somebody else and they're brand new parents.

Things always happen for a reason.

I'll confess, I had office romance.. at first it's okay because there is wicked sexual tension because you're near each other when you need it. The admin assistant that works here and I were going at it. The hardest thing is not to want each other because higher ups don't like that touchy feel crap. Anyways it lasted about two months and she went back out with her ex boy. I think the hardest thing ever is letting it go.. you really can't escape it.

You're not alone. And, quite frankly, after being gone for a while, his posts over the past few weeks kind of freak me out.
