Anyone here shoot pistols and rifles for fun? I currently have about 22 guns in my house hold, some automatics, semi and high powered rifles.

I shoot for fun.. I also hunt turkeys and deer. My favorite gun is my barrett 82A1, I ended up shooting a 6 point buck in the head blowing his head off. It was pretty messy but I ended up making vension jerky out of the 200lbs.

Why would you shoot a buck in the head? The kill zone for a deer is in the shoulder/abdomen area. That way, you have the rack and some meat.

I don't hunt, but I bought a Glock 23 a couple of years back. It is, as Glock calls it, simple perfection.

Barrett 82A1? Better hope the game wardens dont find out, especially in california. How'd you enjoy eating 200 lbs of jerky?

Yeah... cali is not the best state to own a firearm. You can't even have a pistol grip there. Jerky was good, actually have a smoke house.. hickory you name it.

I think he shouldn't be allowed to use English. I can barely decipher what the hell that first post even says.

How did you shoot? Did you jerk the trigger or anticipate the recoil?

I still do that, and I've shot hundreds of rounds. I have to get better.
