What did you guys do for the fourth?

Mine was pretty standard-beer, cookouts, fireworks, lake stuff, etc.

I did get to roll with an entourage on the evening of the fourth. The group I was with included:
-Rock stars
-Rednecks
-Hot chicks
-Professional wrestlers

We walked next door looking for a fight. There was a kid there who almost ran over my friend's dog and then told him to "keep your fuckin' dog out of the road." It's a private dirt road, by the way.

The kid got very punked down very quickly. Then, we left him alone and poured a beer on the hood of his Infiniti.

We went to the back of my brother's corn field and set off illegal fireworks. The popo never even flew their helicopter over. I also drank a lot of beer (and I'm not even a beer person.) I played some WII, and got new speakers for my Tahoe. How eventful.

I sat around drinking shitloads of water watching my boyfriend and his friends play pool and then BBQ me up some food. Then I went home and watched the Boston Pops and the Fireworks show on TV. VERY uneventful.

You better believe it. Professional wrestlers? I just had to laugh at how redneck the situation was. It was awesome.

I went to a friends place in Newport Beach that was literally 50 yards from the beach. Drank lots and lots of beer. Went body surfing in the ocean highly intoxicated. It was great...

Oh yeah, highlight of the day, a ticket for having an open container in public. We had literally were on our first beer and stepped 1 foot off the drive to admire the masses of beach cruisers in front of the house when 4 bike cops roll up and point to the 4 of us. I figured we were going to get carded for drinking but nope a full on citation. Oh well it gave us something to talk about all day.

Riding bikes drunk was rather fun too!

I wonder - can you get a DUI for riding a bike drunk? Or is it only motorized vehicles?

Nope.... if you are operating a vehicle of any kind, intoxicated on any chemical (or natural herb) you can be giving a DUI or a DWI. I have a friend who got ticketed trying to skateboard drunk.

HAHA I did not know that! I had a friend in HS who got a DUI on a quad on Pismo Beach.

... which.... makes me realize a question. If that's the case. Do handicapped people in wheelchairs get a DUI if they are intoxicated? hmmmm

Yeah we were definitely trying to be careful riding around on the bikes. When we got around cops we got off and walked them.

Maybe drunk drivers should just get out of their cars and start pushing them if they see cops?
