So what is the fastest you drove and in what car?

My last WRX I topped out at an airport doing 175mph. Car was pretty well modded and lowered with weights. I was really pushing the transmission on this car and was my only down side at about 9,000rpm. I was anxious to continue the project car and push the fd to put me over 200mph. Serious transmission work and PPG gears was my only option. With meth and the 30r turbo I had it would have been possible. My plan was to take it to bonneville and really see what the car could do granted the areo structure is complete shit without being low and some body mods. Un-greatly life blows and now I have a stg2 06 WRX, I old man this car now. Doing over 170+ is scary, but the adrenaline and the freedom is well worth it.

165 in a '95 ZR1 Corvette. It had the landau roof out, and I was riding bitch. It is a wonder that I, too, am alive.

A close second is my friend's '04 Mustang Cobra heavily modded with 535 rwhp. We hit 160, met a cop, and he had to do some crazy back road maneuvering. I was strapped into a racing seat with a 5-point harness this time, but it was still pretty dangerous.
