percentage increase wise...

The bummer about getting those huge pay raises, is when the next one comes around and you only get 5%. It makes me

Fifteen percent and above

Hahaha well that depends on the company and it's budget. I would think 10% would be a good size.

the thing is, you're very well known in the community in which you work in, so it really shouldn't be a big deal for you to find a paying gig.

There's not much $ in the community I am in though :(

The track club stuff will start paying next month, my pole vault clinics start this week, I make a little money from ads on the website and selling books and t-shirts, Mom's group pays me a little, and hopefully I'll get a little $$ under the table again this year for coaching at the high school (we have more coaches than we have stipends). Oh yeah and I should start getting paid a little for one of the webmaster gigs.

Oh yeah and when I add all that up it will still be maybe 1k a month haha.

But I live with my parents and am super cheap, so it's been working so far. I had a real job for a few months and managed to save some $$ from that.

I would say anything that is equal to the rate of inflation, and then some.

It's shitty when people get raises that don't even match inflation. Your basically getting a pay cut.

Yeah I should see a pay increase tomorrow on my check. Probably gonna be pretty good.

Definitely. That's not a bad idea actually.

And for the record she's not my gf. She was just cute. She has to be incredibly hot to be in the running if she works at fast food :D

With the way my company is SO f-ing stingy with it's cash... anything over 4% is a HUGE improvement

For hourly workers I'd say anything between $1-2 an hour is pretty good. Good luck getting it in a corp world though...:p

yeah, if you are a valued employee, companies will usually do what it takes to keep you happy, and working for them.
