Tell us your awkward moments at work.
Once I walked past a hallway and saw a male co-worker scratching his balls / adjusting or whatever men are constantly working on down there. The next day I rounded a corner and caught the same guy doing the same thing. And this is after 4 years of not catching any men doing this.
Also, one time I walked past someone to use the copier. They must have ripped one 30 seconds before because I got two lungs full of stinky fart. Gross.

i've been crop dusted a few times at work... and had a few dirty bombs dropped in the elevator so when i walk in i get hit with the debris!

another one i run into is when i'm in the bathroom taking a leak and someone is just destroying one the toilets... thats usually pretty akward when they come out of the stall.

I'd say one of the creepiest times was when one of my employees kissed me on the cheek and then just stepped back like trying to see my reaction. VERRY awkward. I was just thinking... okay... get out of my office now before I fire you. Especially since he's a creepy old guy who cheats on his wife constantly.

I think it's impossible to avoid situations like that when you're a female and work with men. Seriously. Especially if it's older men with that old school mentality.
Glide, I know what you mean about being in the restroom when someone is blowing it up. At my last job, we were in an office suite and shared a restroom with the other offices. There was this one woman who would be tearing it up every single day after lunch. Poor lady really needed to change her diet.
I have to observe people giving specimens and then drug screen those specimens. I win.

I've never caught anyone doing it, but before I started, my boss was testing a guy once who rigged a Visine bottle under his arm. He ran a hose from it into his pants and tried to pass it off as pee. He was arrested (after they took pictures of his contraption).
We do have strips to put in the urine to test if they have abnormal urine. I've seen a few of those, but most of the time they're on the way to jail anyway, so we don't press the issue too much.

Back when I had a real job a man in his 70's cam in with his shirt all the way unbuttoned. I had to ask a co-worker to help him - he pretty much set his man boobs ON the counter!

2 come to mind:
I hired a lesbian who was pretty open about her sexual orientation. She wanted to talk to me in my office a couple weeks in. She confessed she had a crush on me but that it sucked because I was married and so she couldn't do anything about it. She sucked as an employee so got fired a couple weeks later anyway, for other reasons. But that's the first time that ever happened.
A girl that worked for me was on her period, having an awful crampy day.... I was well aware because she kept darting to the bathroom, had to borrow tampons etc. Well, our water pressure was having issues and I guess when she flushed the toilet it overflowed. With all her tampon/menstrual mess. I had to show her how to use the wet-vac... and it was just not a pretty sight at all. But I felt bad for her more than anything.

How embarrassing! That girl is lucky her boss is female. I'd be really embarrassed if that happened to me with my five male bosses.
With all her tampon/menstrual mess. I had to show her how to use the wet-vac... and it was just not a pretty sight at all. But I felt bad for her more than anything.
