I'm working full time for an Architect, and am about to transfer to Fresno State where I will be a junior pursuing a Construction Management degree. That's about it.

I am an Engineer for an elevator company. Spend most of my day designing elevator controllers.
Schools overrated I am done with that noise :)

For Otis or Thyssen Krupp?
TeKoverride
03-04-2008, 07:55 AM
Neither of those actually. Motion Control Engineering.
We sell the controllers to thyssen and otis and different contractors. Although I think Otis has their own controllers. We only do jobs for Otis once in a while when the job design is harder.

I got married last July... we just sold our house in Fresno and are moving to Monterey next week and looking for a new home. That's pretty much my world right now... lots of boxes & MLS searches...!
I moved to Huntington Beach at the end of Dec, and I am working for Experian Consumer Direct as a Systems Administrator. (ie. freecreditreport.com)

Damn haha that's pretty jacked ... don't worry cause when I see people I know out around town I avoid them. I do the same thing with old people from highschool when I go back home during holidays.

I'm actually the same way. I hate running into people I used to know, because then you have to deal with the whole awkward conversation. Not to mention, I really don't care what they're up to now.

Although sometimes it does make me feel good about where I am in life when they answer with one of the following:
1. I'm divorced with 3 kids at age 26
2. I'm a housewife
3. I'm a sales clerk at Forever 21

Yes, that is true. It is a good scale to see where you stand as far as success. :)
Gotta love it when people come up to you and are like... ''Hey! What's up (followed by your name)!"
And then you give that look like... ''uhhhhh''
Their response is ... "You don't remember me do you"
In my head I am a dick and thinking to myself...''No I forget people of no importance ;)"
I *think* I might have a 10year reunion this year? who knows, i have heard nothing about it, but that will be weird!!

So I'm living in A-town, working in SLO-town as the customer care supervisor for a study guide company for the Air Force. I finished my Masters Degree program in Organizational Leadership/HR and am actually using it. Who'd have thought....oh yeah, and if anyone wants to move back to SLO, we need a Sys Admin....hee :)
Oh yeah, and I got married in 06, so I am a stepmom now. :p

I am back home in Seattle, going to grad school, coaching pole vault at my University, my high school, and my club, I am on the board of directors for my track club, but about to step down so I can get paid to be team manager, I still run the biggest pole vault website on the internet, I am webmaster for a couple other sites and I babysit for a mom's group at my church.
I also have an awesome boyfriend, we just had our one year anniversary last night.

You are the busiest person ever!
Speaking of awesome boyfriends, I have one myself. We've been together for over a year now.
My sn used to be Nugent, and I am your resident GA redneck.
I work for a radio station now, dating a good chick, and still acting like I'm 18. I do news, and yes I am on the air. It's a decent gig I guess. I'm glad to see WCM back in action.
I know my sn sucks, but I couldn't think of anything better in my excited quest to register. It's a Big Lebowski reference, so I guess that's cool.

First off.... thanks scotteh!
A few things have changed, but not much... Same company.... different position.... I'm a Banquet Operations Manager for the Patina Restaurant Group in Downtown LA. I think when we last had this thing I was here as a coordinator. In between then and now I went to the Hollywood Bowl over the summer last year and had the time of my life being a Catering Sales Manager there. SO much fun!
I think I moved in between then and now too. I now live in the San Fernando Valley area of LA instead of "real" LA. *couldn't handle the ghetto life*
Still with the same boyfriend.... still being a crack-head turtle-owner, but now I've got cat to add to the family! Next in line for pets.... either a garter snake or waxie frogs. :)
Anyway... I spend anywhere from 30-60 hours a week working so I'm very irregular about my internet use anymore. Kinda sucks especially since you all are back!! YAYYYY!

One stepdaughter (8), 2 neices (5 & 1), and 1 new nephew all from the hubby's side.
She lives at home with her mom and we get her on weekends. Its better than I thought it would be, we get along great. Its probably b/c she is only 10 inches shorter than me....*sigh* Which isnt saying much since I am only 5' LOL!
hi all....
I'm still pretty much in the same place doing the same thing. Living/working in Gig Harbor, WA, managing IT for an educational services company. Added another little rugrat to the clan back in August, so I've got 2 kids now. A 3-1/2 year old boy and a 7mo old girl. You guys talking about 10 year high school reunions coming up is making me feel old.

It wasn't me. Maybe we had talked about it or something, but it never happened. You see, I'm actually a middle-aged, overweight hispanic man with cheeto-stained fingers that acts like someone else online.

the Forum was all private, so theres no good archives of that :( But at one point, there were literally 500 active users, and thousands of registered.
