Does California need high speed rail? Should we borrow $10 billion to start construction of a rail line between San Francisco and Los Angeles, and possibly Sacramento and San Diego?

What are your thoughts??

i thought they were going to build one between LA and Vegas? I think it would be a great idea. California's mass transit sucks!

I want to see who is gonna be in charge of building the shit so I can get a job there :)

Yes we need one. Connecting us (Fresno) to SF and LA can only help our local economy and who doesn't want to be able to go to SF within an hour? Long overdue I say.

I agree. Safer than driving, a lot less time than driving. Not only that but people would be able to go places they normally wouldn't go and spend money helping the economy in that sense.

Whats this talk of Vegas? Ive heard it will run from La to Sf? Theres one going to Vegas too? From La or Fresno?

hmmmm, my initial reaction was what good does that do? But I guess I could train an hour to LA and then train an hour to Vegas. Build on!

i think this would be great, and if we actually had a bus system that was similar to the efficiency of SF or NY then i would def take a bus to work instead of driving everyday. but its just too damn slow to get 12 miles that it doesn't make it worth it...

but i am going to start carpooling again :)
